Emergency Freeze
Dear Residents,
As you may already be aware, a freeze warning has been issued for our area. We want to remind everyone to take the necessary precautions to protect yourselves and your homes during this time. Below are some tips that can help you stay safe and warm during the freeze warning:
- Keep your thermostat at a consistent temperature, ideally no lower than 68°F to prevent frozen pipes.
- Open your cabinet doors to allow heat to circulate around your pipes and help prevent them from freezing.
- Insulate outdoor pipes, faucets, and spigots with covers or rags to prevent them from freezing.
- Leave a small trickle of water running from faucets to help prevent freezing.
- Ensure that your space heaters are placed at a safe distance from flammable materials and never leave them unattended.
- Keep a sufficient supply of non-perishable food and drinking water in case of power outages.
We hope that these tips are helpful in keeping you and your family safe during this time. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
Stay warm and stay safe!
Thank You,
Country Park
